The Department of Health Care Services manages a statewide Prop 64 grant program focused on the prevention of youth substance use disorder. This grant program is titled Elevate Youth California. As of April 2023, this program has awarded over $189 million to local nonprofits working to serve youth. To learn more, please visit the grant website. As with the other Prop 64 grant programs, Youth Forward is not involved in the management of this grant program, nor are we a grant recipient. We are working to raise awareness of this funding opportunity as part of our mission to strengthen and expand the fields of youth development and substance use prevention.
